    Great quality

Seriously good jeans! The fabric is thick but also pretty soft from the first wear. The fit is generous and suits me with larger thighs. The pockets are actually usable and your hands can fit in them comfortably. The taper is not too sharp so you can have tall boots underneath. However, it is still sharp enough that the silhouette looks great. The build quality and attention to detail is top notch. Don’t worry about the price, they are more than worth it. I wouldn’t consider another brand when buying my next pair of jeans.

Might be my new ride or die jeans

Let me start by saying that the portola fit is the most perfect tapered cut I’ve tried on. They are great balance of a clean, modern silhouette without giving me a “carrot leg” situation that should work well with most body types. The fabric is fantastic and the white weft almost gives it the appearance of an extremely dark indigo at first glance. The pocket bags are a great touch and the leather patch is oily and should hold up well over time and some washes. The hardware is the usual coppery goodness that I’ve come to love on all freenote garments. Wouldn’t change a thing!
